Shipping Clerk

Description

We are looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our team! This position will be responsible for ensuring all merchandise is shipped out accurately and timely, per the customer’s request. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Process all company shipments through ShipStation via USPS, UPS, FedEx or per customers’ request
• Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package
• Accurately process Freight shipments 
• Accurately process client ship requests
• Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
• Affix proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping
• Proficient in running the EOD report
• Complete Customer Pick ups
• Communicate with all necessary parties via email 
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and productive work environment
• Maintain regular and punctuality attendance - in good standing
• Perform job functions with consistency and regularity, minimizing quality issues or damages
• Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment by contributing to housekeeping

Requirements

Skills and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to endure extreme temperatures and lift and move boxes of up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand and be in motion at all times. Flexible enough to walk, twist, bend, stoop, pull, grip and lift merchandise. 
• Ability to learn Something Inked products.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, etc.)
• Prerequisite – Experience in receiving, fulfillment, and/or quality control
