<h2>Field Service Engineer &#8211; Heavy Equipment</h2> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Reside within 1 hour of Sheffield<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> £38,500 + Overtime + Van + Benefits OTE £45,000</p> <p>We&#8217;re looking for an experienced <strong>Field Service Engineer</strong> to join a global leader in heavy equipment and material handling solutions. This is a fantastic chance to work on large-scale machinery, gain world-class training, and develop your career in a business that values progression.</p> <h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Service, repair and maintain heavy mobile equipment: cranes, forklifts, RoRo tractors, container handlers</p> </li> <li> <p>Field-based role covering the North Region</p> </li> <li> <p>Door-to-door paid travel, with overtime and on-call allowance</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Package &amp; Benefits</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>£38,500 base salary + overtime (time and a half weekdays/Saturdays, double time Sundays)</p> </li> <li> <p>Company van, larger tools supplied</p> </li> <li> <p>On-call rota: 1 in 6 weeks, £150 standby, 4 hours minimum double time if called out</p> </li> <li> <p>40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:00</p> </li> <li> <p>Holiday, pension, and strong career progression opportunities</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>About You</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>NVQ Level 3 in Plant, HGV, Forklift or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Level 2 considered with strong experience)</p> </li> <li> <p>Skilled in hydraulics, electrics and diagnostics (CANbus knowledge an advantage)</p> </li> <li> <p>Backgrounds: Plant, Cranes, Forklift, HGV, material handling</p> </li> </ul> <p>WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing &amp; technical sales jobs.
