Housekeeper/ Kitchen Assistant - Portstewart   The role involves a mix of housekeeping, light food preparation, and general kitchen duties, ensuring a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for all guests.   About this role: £Competitive salary Shifts are 8.30am - 3pm and 5pm - 8pm or dependant on business needs.   Hours may vary depending on business needs, especially during busy periods or peak seasons. Seasonal role from April to September What you'll be doing in this role: Assist with the preparation and serving of food, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation. Set up the dining area before meal times, ensuring tables are laid out professionally and appropriately. Clear and clean the dining area after service, maintaining cleanliness at all times. Complete general wash‑up duties including dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety procedures. Tidy and service guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. On Fridays, remove used bed linen, replace with fresh linen, and make up beds to guest-ready standard. Clean bathrooms, vacuum rooms, empty bins, and restock toiletries as required. Maintain cleanliness in all guest areas, ensuring the B&B remains tidy, sanitary, and welcoming.
