The Fellowships and Grants team at the Career and Community Engagement Center provides support to students and alumni in their application for nationally and globally competitive grants, fellowships and scholarships. Through these awards, Whitties can foster self-reflection and expand their understanding of different issues, ideas, and values—and themselves. Our goal is to help individuals develop critical thinking skills so they can increase the value that they bring to their communities.

Since the year 2000, over 650 Whitman students and alumni have earned distinguished fellowships and grants, including:
