<p><span style="-small">About the Role</span><br /><span style="-small">Connex Education is working in partnership with a Secondary SEND School in Wirral and they are seeking a SEND Teacher to join their team to cover absences on a flexible basis.</span></p>
<p><span style="-small">About the School</span><br /><span style="-small">This fantastic SEND School caters for pupils aged 11-19 years with Special Needs. They offer a high quality Education in a highly engaging environment which nutures, supports and challenges the pupils. All pupils have an EHCP and have been diagnosed with complex needs including Autism, SLD and PMLD. As a SEND Teacher at this School you will be teaching both a formal and informal curriculum in line with their EHCP’s and you will have support from class TA’s. </span></p>

<p><span style="-small" data-mce-mark="1">Assignment Details</span><br /><span style="-small">This SEND Teacher role is a flexible role where you can pick and choose which days you would like to work, but we do have full-time and long-term roles available, with the chance of a direct contract for the right candidate. The hours will consist of working 8.30am until 3.30pm. You must be adaptable and able to work in a range of classrooms across school. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ECT who is interested in building up SEND experience.</span></p>
<p><span style="-small">Person Specification</span></p>

<li><span style="-small">Experience of teaching pupils with SEND either in a SEND School or within mainstream</span></li>
<li><span style="-small">Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to set realistic targets in line with EHCP’s</span></li>
<li><span style="-small">Able to work as a team with dedicated staff to help create a calm and nurturing learning environment.</span></li>
<li><span style="-small">have a good understanding of Special Needs and how to diffirentiate work depending on abilities</span></li>
<li><span style="-small">Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.</span></li>
