Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Payable & Inventory Specialist to support our accounting and operations team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Accounts Payable, inventory accounting, and QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop, particularly within inventory-based environments.

• Pay Rate $27
• Location: Sun Valley
• Status: This is a two-week temporary position
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable processes
• Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and timely manner
• Review and classify invoices related to inventory, landed costs, and general operating expenses
• Determine which costs should be allocated to inventory items versus posted to G&A expense accounts
• Maintain inventory accounting records, including number tracking
• Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop inventory functions daily
• Process and reconcile company credit card transactions
• Monitor vendor payment schedules and communicate upcoming payment obligations to ownership for cash flow planning
• Support overall accounting operations and collaborate with internal staff as needed

 

Qualifications

• Strong experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop required
• Experience using inventory functions and lot number tracking within QuickBooks
• Minimum 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and landed costs
• Ability to distinguish between inventory asset postings and expense account classifications
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

 

Preferred Experience

• Background in distribution, manufacturing, food, or inventory-driven environments
• Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses
• Familiarity with cash flow coordination and vendor payment prioritization
