In this role you will be responsible to use scripting languages like SKILL within Cadence Design software to automate repetitive tasks in the design process, such as layout generation, component placement, routing functions, electrical and manufacturing design rule verification checks, drawing generation, and other routine operations.   Key responsibilities: Developing and maintaining SKILL scripts Integrating Cadence with other tools to automate simulation setup and result analysis Document the function and process to use the scripts. Interacting with Package team members such package design and layout engineers   Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 6 months of experience using scripting SKILL language Knowledge of EDA design principles Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Ability to collaborate within a team environment Attention to detail and a focus on creating efficient, maintainable solutions   Preferred: Knowledge of PCB or Package Layout designs automations Proficient in version control systems Familiarity with programming skills such as Python, VBA, or TCL. Experience with layout design softwares such as Cadence, Valor, or CAM 350. Have one of the following certifications: SKILL programming certification by Cadence and/or Certified Associate in Python Programming (PCAP)
