Senior Manager (Director pathway)

Portsmouth or central south coast – package c£70k + Bens Neg, Depending on experience – Hybrid Working

Portsmouth based independent accountancy firm with strong profitability, who have recently made an acquisition, seek an ambitious senior manager for a new role also key to succession planning. You will take on an established client portfolio, prove you can grow the business and be ready to step up to director in a 12-24 month period.

My client work on a hybrid basis but do want someone in the office 3 days a week to build relationships and network efficiently. You will be a qualified accountant and keen to join a firm that will offer you progression based on achievement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage 5 client Account Managers – WIP, fees and workflow reviews
• Assist managers with client technical questions
• Client meetings
• Involved in recruitment and staff development
• Manage own client portfolio – develop and build
• Business development
• Practice development – new service lines / opportunities in utilisation of AI
• No audit!!
• A key member of the senior management team

Package and salary are negotiable to attract a high quality individual.
