As a GroundStar Functional Testing SME, You Will:

• Own the end-to-end functional testing strategy and execution for ground operations migration programs.
• Lead functional testing activities across ground handling departments, including task generation, scheduling rules, optimizer behavior, shift assignments, and operational workflows.
• Validate migrated system functionality to ensure operational correctness and business process continuity.
• Define, maintain, and execute comprehensive functional test suites, ensuring complete traceability and test coverage.
• Lead defect triage, impact assessments, and root cause analysis activities.
• Evaluate defect severity, assess regression risks, and drive resolution with vendors and project stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain test evidence, documentation, and go-live readiness packages.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the testing lifecycle from planning through production deployment.
• Collaborate with business users, operational teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to support successful migration outcomes.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and quality assurance oversight to junior testing resources.
• Support go-live activities and ensure testing deliverables align with business and operational requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within testing processes and operational readiness programs.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 8–10 years of experience in functional testing, quality assurance, and enterprise application validation.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Inform GroundStar (IGS), including rules engine configuration, task logic, and optimizer functionality.
• Proven experience leading functional testing activities for GroundStar implementations, upgrades, or migration programs.
• Strong understanding of ground handling operations and airline operational processes.
• Extensive knowledge of task generation, workforce scheduling, shift management, and operational workflow validation.
• Experience managing defect triage, root cause analysis, and regression risk assessments.
• Strong understanding of test strategy development, test planning, execution, and go-live readiness processes.
• Ability to assess system behavior from both operational and business perspectives.
• Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Dutch language proficiency is considered an advantage.

• Lead functional testing activities independently with full ownership and accountability.
• Determine operational correctness beyond technical system validation.
• Evaluate business impact, defect severity, and production readiness with confidence.
• Drive testing quality standards across large-scale migration and transformation programs.
• Collaborate effectively with business teams, vendors, operational stakeholders, and project leadership.
• Manage competing priorities while maintaining focus on quality and delivery timelines.
• Mentor and support testing teams to improve overall testing maturity and effectiveness.
• Deliver high-quality testing outcomes in fast-paced and complex environments.
