HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) - Carnforth

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carnforth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

 

Shifts Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours/ start times available:

• 12:15pm start
• 13:45pm start
• 17:30pm start

 

Pay Rate : £16.40 per hour PAYE

Location: Carnforth, LA5 9XP

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

• Trunking trailers for major parcel companies.
• Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.
• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with customers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

 

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
• 1 years’ experience required
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence (minor offences only).
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on long-haul runs.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to high safety standards.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
