Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Piedmont, South Carolina 29673 Hourly Rate: $30 Schedule: 8:00am-4:00pm Mon-Fri (30min lunch) Job Overview We're seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to ensure our production equipment operates smoothly and efficiently. This role, based in Piedmont, SC, offers $30 per hour and involves equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with team members. This position has the potential to move into a lead role. What You’ll Do Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records Assist with building maintenance and facility infrastructure What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or packaging Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems up to 480V Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing active duties Perks & Benefits of Working with WorkSmart Health benefits Earned wage access 401k plan Referral and longevity bonuses Equal Employment Opportunity WorkSmart is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
