Commercial Property Lawyer 4+ years PQE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Commercial Property Lawyer to join a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm in Surrey. This traditional yet forward-thinking firm is known for delivering exceptional client service and providing a supportive, collaborative working environment.

This role is ideal for a motivated solicitor or legal executive with at least 4 years’ PQE who is looking to take the next step in their career and work on a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters.

The Role

You will manage a varied and interesting caseload of commercial property matters, acting for a diverse client base that includes developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and lenders. Matters will include:

• Sales and acquisitions of commercial property
• Commercial leases and landlord & tenant matters
• Property finance transactions
• Real estate development work
• Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, contracts, and ancillary documents
• Conducting due diligence and advising clients on transactional risk
• Working closely with developers, lenders, investors, and other third parties to ensure smooth transactions
• Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients

The Candidate

• Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive in England & Wales
• Have a minimum of 4 years’ PQE in commercial property law
• Possess strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property transactions
• Have experience handling landlord & tenant matters, property finance, and development work
• Demonstrate excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Be commercially aware, proactive, and client-focused
• Thrive working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
