Arcosa, Inc. is seeking a Summer Financial Analyst Intern in our Dallas headquarters in the Tax department. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for a college student interested in accounting, finance, or tax to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment. No prior tax experience is required—just a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic. As a Summer Tax Analyst Intern, you will have a multi-faceted role which spans across all types of taxes which Arcosa is, or may be, subject to over a 5-10 week period.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting with sales and use tax audits, including data gathering and document preparation
Organizing and maintaining corporate tax files and documentation
Supporting the preparation and processing of tax payments
Assisting in reconciliation of tax accounts in the general ledger
Running reports from Oracle and assisting with data analysis
Helping prepare and file various tax returns under supervision
Assisting in drafting responses to tax notices
Participating in ad hoc projects and other tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Seeking bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong work ethic and highly motivated
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, be creative and innovative
Ability to prioritize and multi-task while performing various assignments and duties
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
