About the Role
We are looking for Distribution Manager Region West Machinery DACH (M/F/D)
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing and optimizing the distribution network for Machinery products. You act as primary interface between the company, its distributors and selected customers within the Machinery market, ensuring consistent product availability, strong sales partnerships and profitable growth.
Your responsibility
Develop and implement the sales strategy for machine products in line with Teknos' strategy and objectives, including the identification, appointment and training of new sales partners where market opportunities exist
Drive revenue growth through distributors by implementing sales programs, promotions and market expansion initiatives
Manage contractual agreements, performance reviews and joint business plans with distribution partners
Monitor and optimize our channel mix to maximize market penetration and profitability
Work closely with our distributors to identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries
Ensure efficient inventory management, order fulfillment and product availability across the distribution network
Forecast demand in collaboration with distributors to align production planning and report on sales performance, distribution KPIs and market trends
Support pricing strategy and margin optimization
Train and coach distributors’ sales and technical teams on product knowledge, applications and value propositions
Build strong, long-term partnerships with distributors and key customers
Collaborate with supply chain, logistics and production teams to maintain service levels and reduce costs

Successfully completed vocational education and/or Bachelor's degree with a focus on distribution
Several years of professional experience as Distribution Manager combined with the drive to get started in the industrial coatings industry in the Machinery segment
Preferably experience within the coating, building materials or chemical products industries and the application processes
Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
High degree of initiative as well as an entrepreneurial, ownership and innovative mindset coupled with quality awareness
Communication skills, practical orientation and team spirit
Residence in the DACH region, driver's license class B and high willingness to travel
