Senior Accountant

Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Senior Accountant to act as the sole accounting professional for a growing construction company. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s accounting function. Key Responsibilities Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. Perform bank and account reconciliations and ensure accurate month-end close. Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with company policies. Support union-certified payroll reporting and compliance. Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience; prior experience as the sole accountant or in a small business environment preferred. Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Construction industry experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge of union payroll processes is a plus. IND123
