About the Role
HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver <br><strong>Location:</strong> Coalville<br><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> £18.50 per hour + Night Out Allowance<br><strong>Shift Pattern:</strong> Tramping <br><br><br>We are currently recruiting for experienced <strong>HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers</strong> to join a well-established and reputable transport operation based in Coalville.<br><br>This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who enjoy being out on the road throughout the week, with regular work, modern vehicles and straightforward deliveries.<br><br>The Role<ul><li>Tramping Monday to Friday with nights out in the vehicle.<br><br></li><ul><li>Nationwide deliveries and collections.<br><br></li><li>Curtain-side and general haulage work.<br><br></li><li>Completing pre- and post-vehicle checks.<br><br></li><li>Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.<br><br></li><li>Completing all relevant paperwork and using electronic POD systems where required.<br><br></li><li>Complying with all drivers' hours, Working Time Directive and road transport legislation.<br><br></li><li>Maintaining a professional standard of customer service at delivery and collection points.<br><br></li></ul></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.<br><br></li><ul><li>Valid Driver CPC qualification.<br><br></li><li>Digital Tachograph Card.<br><br></li><li>Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.<br><br></li><li>Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.<br><br></li><li>A reliable, flexible and professional approach to work.<br><br></li><li>Comfortable working away from home during the week.<br><br></li></ul></ul>What We Offer<ul><li><strong>£18.50 per hour.</strong><br><br></li><ul><li><strong>Night Out Allowance</strong> paid for each night spent away.<br><br></li><li>Ongoing, regular tramping work.<br><br></li><li>Weekly pay.<br><br></li><li>Modern, well-maintained fleet.<br><br></li><li>Supportive transport team.<br><br></li><li>Immediate starts available.<br><br></li></ul></ul>If you're an experienced <strong>Class 1 Tramper Driver</strong> looking for regular ongoing work in the Coalville area, we'd love to hear from you.
