Mobile Cleaning Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Cleaning Operative to support a local council team. This role involves cleaning public conveniences and depot office facilities across multiple sites, travelling between locations in a small council van. This is a hands-on, independent role, ideal for someone reliable, organised, and comfortable managing their own workload while staying in regular contact with supervisors and the wider team. Package: £14ph Extra pay for bank holidays 37.5 hours a week 6 months contract but could lead to further opportunities Holiday pay accrued on top of hourly rate Weekly pay Friendly supportive team Full training and induction All equipment and cleaning consumables supplied Council vehicle provided for site travel Key Responsibilities Cleaning and maintaining public conveniences and depot office facilities Travelling between sites using a small council van Working independently and managing your own daily schedule Keeping in regular contact with the office, supervisors, and team members Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained across all locations Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and responsibly Requirements Full UK driving licence (essential) Comfortable driving a small van between multiple locations Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Reliable, punctual, and good communication skills Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided Able to work Monday to Sunday on a rota basis.
