About the Role
<p>Are you a compassionate Veterinary Surgeon looking for a rewarding part-time role where you can truly make a difference? This long-established small animal clinic in North West London is seeking a dedicated vet to join their team, working 21 hours per week across Thursday, Friday and Saturday.</p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> North West London, UK<br />
<strong>Hours:</strong> 21 hours per week (8am–4pm or 9am–5pm, Thursday to Saturday)<br />
<strong>Contract:</strong> Permanent, part time<br />
<strong>Salary (FTE):</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Up to £55,000 (10+ years PQE)</p>
<li>
<p>Up to £48,000 (5–10 years PQE)</p>
<li>
<p>Up to £43,000 (<5 years PQE)</p>

<h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3>
<p>You’ll be part of a small, dedicated veterinary team providing high-quality care to animals in need, as well as supporting the community with essential veterinary services. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety – from surgeries and diagnostics to preventative care and welfare work.</p>
<p>You’ll work in a <strong>modern, well-equipped RCVS-accredited clinic</strong> featuring x-ray and dental x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, in-house lab, and two surgical suites. The team also serves as a <strong>training centre for veterinary students</strong>, so there’s scope to support and mentor others if desired.</p>

<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>

<p>Deliver excellent medical and surgical care to dogs and cats in the clinic’s care.</p>
<li>
<p>Provide preventative treatments, diagnostics, and welfare advice.</p>
<li>
<p>Support clinic operations and maintain compliance with professional standards.</p>
<li>
<p>Participate in the occasional on-call rota for shelter animals in emergency situations.</p>
</ul>

<h3><strong>About You</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon.</p>
<li>
<p>Confident in general surgery, medicine, dentistry, and diagnostics.</p>
<li>
<p>Experience in shelter medicine is advantageous, but new graduates with a passion for charity work are welcome to apply.</p>
<li>
<p>Compassionate, calm, and professional approach with strong teamwork skills.</p>
