This hybrid role blends hands-on project management with high-level operational oversight. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of the company — optimizing workflows, mentoring teams, and ensuring that every project is delivered with precision and care.</p> <p>What You’ll Do:</p> <p>Lead Projects from Start to Finish: Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of multiple construction projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.<br /> Drive Operational Excellence: Evaluate and improve internal processes across estimating, procurement, field operations, and client communications.<br /> Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project managers, site supervisors, and administrative staff. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.<br /> Client Relations: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, architects, and subcontractors. Build trust through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.<br /> Financial Oversight: Collaborate with ownership on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Monitor project profitability and identify opportunities for margin improvement.<br /> Strategic Planning: Help shape long-term business strategy, including technology adoption, talent development, and market expansion.</p> <p>What You Bring:</p> <p>10+ years of experience in construction project management and operations, ideally in a leadership role.<br /> Strong understanding of residential and light commercial construction practices.<br /> Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and teams simultaneously.<br /> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you know how to lead with empathy and clarity.<br /> Financial acumen and comfort with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.<br /> Proficiency in project management tools and construction software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, MS Project).<br /> Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s or PMP certification a plus).</p>
