Year 2 Teacher Rugby

About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Rugby to recruit a Year 2 Teacher. This is a full-time role with a September 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a welcoming KS1 team, a strong phonics culture and high expectations for both academic achievement and personal development. Staff enjoy collaborative planning, excellent classroom resources and ongoing CPD through an established leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging Year 2 lessons across the curriculum
• Prepare pupils for end of KS1 assessments
• Monitor attainment and pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

Pre-requisites:

•  Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
•  Proven experience in Primary Education
•  A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
