What You'll Be Doing
Preparing accounts using systems such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
Supporting onsite audits as part of an experienced audit team
Drafting corporation tax computations and assisting with client queries
Reviewing and actioning points raised by managers and tax specialists
Acting as a point of contact for clients on day-to-day matters
Visiting clients across the region and building strong professional relationships
What We're Looking For
We value enthusiasm, potential, and a genuine desire to learn-not just prior experience.
Essential
AAT Level 3/4, or a degree, or 2 A‑Levels at A*-C (or equivalent)
Ambition to build a long-term career in accountancy
Strong communication skills across face-to-face, phone and email
Good IT skills (especially Excel)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive problem solver with strong organisational skills
Flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to travel to client sites
Nice to Have
Relevant audit or accounts experience
Familiarity with software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or Iris
Experience delivering excellent client or customer service
