Year 6 Intervention Teacher Bradford

About the role:

Justteachers are working with a Primary School in Bradford to appoint a Year 6 Intervention Teacher. This role is to start in September 2026 and will run until the end of the academic year. Full and part-time options will be considered.

This is a two-form entry, warm and welcoming school with a supportive team. The school are passionate about ensuring all students have access to an inclusive education and are given the best start in life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with a small group of set students to raise attainment
• Manage challenging behaviour
• Plan and mark differentiated lessons
• Liaise with SLT to ensure all needs are being met

Pre-requisites:

• Strong understanding of the year 6 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Experience working with SEND and challenging behaviour
• Passionate about education and committed to pupil success
• Skilled in building positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff
• Reflective, resilient, and eager to develop professionally
• Two school-based references
