The Managing Director of Investment Banking for Europe will be responsible for leading and growing the Infrastructure investment banking business in the region. The MD will work closely with the head of Investment Banking and other senior leaders to develop and execute a strategy to drive revenue and market share.
The Role:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the region, including corporate executives, private equity firms, and financial sponsors
- Lead the origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions in Europe
- Manage a team of investment bankers and support staff, providing coaching and mentorship to drive their professional development
- Work with other business lines and teams within the bank to cross-sell products and services and identify new opportunities for growth
- Contribute to the overall strategy and growth of the investment banking division
- Participate in business development efforts and attend industry events to promote the bank's brand and capabilities in the region
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or business administration
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on the LATAM region
- Strong relationships with clients and a proven track record of origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
