Job Description
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and professional standards.
- Provide expert advice on over-the-counter medications and health-related queries.
- Maintain accurate records of patient consultations and prescription transactions.
- Ensure the pharmacy complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to manage stock levels and ensure the availability of key products.
- Support the training and development of pharmacy assistants and other team members.
- Build strong relationships with customers to foster trust and loyalty.
- Promote health and wellness initiatives within the community.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pharmacist should have:
- A recognised degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- A solid understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations.
