Key Responsibilities:
- Support the reactive estimating team by preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for reactive maintenance and repair works.
- Assist in reviewing project specifications, drawings, and scopes of work.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and price analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Maintain and update estimation databases and records.
- Work closely with senior estimators and project managers to understand project requirements and budgets.
- Some experience or background in estimating, preferably within the mechanical, plumbing, or drainage industry.
- Basic understanding of construction or maintenance processes.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn estimation software.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
