We're hiring a Staffing Recruiter Intern for a 90+ day project in our Lake Charles branch. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on recruiting experience while working alongside an experienced staffing team. Every day brings something new—from interviewing candidates and helping clients fill critical positions to onboarding new hires and ensuring a smooth hiring process.
What You'll Do

- Recruit, source, and screen qualified candidates for a variety of positions
- Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and temporary teammates
- Utilize social media and creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent
- Coordinate the complete onboarding process, including:
- I-9 and E-Verify
- Background checks
- Drug screening
- Client orientations
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Assist with workers' compensation procedures when needed
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Build strong relationships with candidates, teammates, and clients
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employment documentation, and hiring processes is a plus
- Previous staffing or recruiting experience (1 year preferred)
