We take pride in our diverse team, which includes around 20 different nationalities. With English as our primary language, we promote effective communication and collaboration within our international team, as well as with our clients and partners. Our people are essential to us, it is thanks to them that our company thrives and operates efficiently. That’s why creating a positive atmosphere is important, as it helps our employees connect and work together better. To build this sense of community, we organize a variety of events and initiatives that bring our employees closer. Activities for Everyone For sports enthusiasts, we have our own volleyball and basketball teams, which are formed based on the number of interested participants, making it a fun way to stay active together. For board game lovers, our employees organize regular competitions during game sessions, while we also arrange hiking trips to explore nearby nature. These hiking trips include visits to local areas close to Selvita, as well as longer walks in national parks. For yoga enthusiasts, we provide classes led by our employees, as well-being is important to us. Additionally, depending on our employees’ interests, we also organize initiatives like Jam Sessions for those who enjoy playing musical instruments. There’s something for everyone to take part in! Culinary Celebrations Our Summer and Winter Potlucks are a highlight, where employees share delicious dishes from their cultures, creating a culinary celebration of our unique backgrounds. These events allow us to taste different flavors while also learning about each other’s traditions. First Time Leader Academy Internal Initiatives for Future Leaders This is a comprehensive one-year training program. Its goal is not only to develop leadership knowledge and skills but also to share experiences among leaders, building a network they will be able to rely on in the future to solve challenges. Together in Sports Activities In addition to our sports teams, we support our employees in cycling to work and participate together in events, such as the Poland Business Run. While this event takes place in Poland, employees from around the world join in to participate. It’s a great opportunity to connect and encourage each other, no matter where we are located! SMART Professional Development Program The aim of this internal training program is to improve skills, competencies, and qualifications for all Selvita employees, no matter their role. Employees are welcome to join any training they find helpful, which encourages growth and collaboration within our team. Positive Moments in the Workplace We also cherish the time spent together by organizing different activities for our employees and their families. So far, we have hosted a family picnic, outdoor movie nights, and open days at our new building. In addition, we organize a series of webinars each year, including Mental Health Month and Diversity Month, where we discuss topics such as rethinking stereotypes, mindfulness in everyday life, resilience, which is important to strengthen, and generational diversity within our company. For the generational diversity webinars, we engaged employees from diffrent age groups to share their insights and experiences. It is all about creating moments that matter for employees. Our Year-Round Charity Initiatives We are equally committed to giving back to the community through various charitable initiatives every year. One of our initiatives is the “Active with Purpose” campaign, which encourages participation in sports while supporting charity. By cycling, running, or walking, our employees improve their health while helping to raise funds for those in need. Participants can suggest support charities, and once we collectively reach a specific mileage goal, the company will donate to the chosen foundation. Additionally, we support local animal shelters and encourage our employees to engage in charitable activities, with team members frequently volunteering during charity camps.
