EYFS Teaching Assistant

About the role:

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Southam from September 2026 through to April 2027.

The school is a 1-form entry setting located in a semi-rural area, with a strong community feel and a nurturing Early Years provision. Staff work closely together to create a calm and engaging learning environment, and the leadership team are highly supportive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher within the EYFS setting

• Delivering small group and 1:1 activities to support early development

• Assisting with routines, play-based learning and pupil engagement

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant level 3 early years qualification
• Proven experience working with children in a school, nursery or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
