About the Role
A large health system in the northern region of North Carolina is excited to welcome a urologist to their team. One would join three other urologists and two APPs, and can step into immediate volume. This is perfect for new grads, as mentorship will be available, but also great for experienced urologists. This is a general urology practice, robotic skills are a plus! This is a not-for-profit integrated system of 15 medical centers and over 1,800 physicians in more than 800 locations in addition to numerous outpatient surgery centers, medical plazas, rehabilitation programs, diagnostic imaging centers, and community health outreach programs.<br><br>Hospital Highlights:<br>• 268 beds, a tertiary care hospital<br>• da Vinci Surgical System<br>• EMR: EPIC systemwide<br><br>Position Highlights:<br>• Incoming urologist will join 3 urologists, 2 APPs<br>• Established patient base - replace a retiring urologist<br>• Mentorship & collaboration / co-surgeries available<br>• Call rotation 1:4, at a single hospital<br>• Single clinic location, 1/2 days on Fridays<br>• Operate at the Hospital and ASC which is 10 mins away<br>• Easy access OR scheduling<br>• Robotic experience is a plus, access to robots / advanced Endo<br>• Ability to buy into Shockwave & Lithotripsy, partial ownership in ASC<br>• Uncapped compensation<br>• Compensation includes 2 year guarantee, bonus potential, CME and relocation allowances<br>• Ability to support J1 and H1B Visa candidates<br><br>Area Highlights:<br>The practice is in a charming town in the Central Piedmont of North Carolina in the Charlotte metropolitan area.
