Residential Lettings Manager, covering Bideford to Barnstaple
Basic Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 | OTE up to £40,000

As a Lettings Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of Residential Lettings: carrying out viewings, liaising with landlords and tenants, undertaking some property inspections and dealing with elements of repairs and maintenance. In addition, you will be supporting the team ensuring smooth and efficient transactions, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction for both landlords and tenants. A varied and interesting role!
Some Saturday working will be required on a rota basis.
The candidate - Desired skills and attributes
Lettings: Minimum 2 years (required)
Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
Be able to work as part of team.
Desire and passion to deliver a highest standards.
IT Literate and able to adapt to learning new IT systems quickly.
A full UK driving license and your own car is essential.
The candidate:
We are looking for an experienced candidate who is very presentable, articulate, has a superb eye for detail together with excellent customer service skills and a strong knowledge of all MS Office packages.
Any prospective candidate should have experience in administration and good telephone etiquette.
MINIMUM of 2 years previous experience within lettings is essential, although training will be provided.
Duties will include (non-exhaustive):
Meeting & greeting clients, landlords & tenants
Handling inbound & outgoing telephone calls
Book and conduct viewings with potential new clients and follow up
Acting as a point of contact for tenant problems
Liaising with landlords in connection with tenant issues
Routine property visits to existing tenancies
Arranging maintenance & repairs for tenant properties
Processing rental payments and deposits / Calling tenants to chase rental arrears
Carrying out and preparing inventories / all related general administrative work
Typing of property particulars / arrange window display / mail shots
Data input onto in-house database
Organize diary / valuations / appointments / take messages
Match clients to properties
Follow-up viewings
Ensure compliance with Rental legislation
Ensuring right to rent and anti-money laundering compliance procedures are met
Manage and maintain administrative systems and procedures

Must have ability to commute or be willing to relocate:
Bideford or Barnstaple office: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
