About the Role
Participates in a variety of patient care and non-patient care duties involved in the planning and administration of radiation therapy to patients. <p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><ul><li>Fabricates treatment aids and immobilization devices and performs simulation/AcQsim procedures.</li><li>Collects analyzes and interprets data and performs quality checks.</li><li>Performs radiation treatment delivery.</li><li>Instructs students. </li><li>Ensures patient and employee safety and communicates effectively.</li><li>Participates in educational activities and staff meetings and ensures certification.</li><li><p>In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</b></p><p><b>Education:</b> Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.</p><p><b>Experience:</b> No experience required.</p><p><span><b>Licensure:</b> </span> <span>American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) certification within 6 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.</span></p><p></p><p><b>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</b></p><p><span>Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 – 50lbs.<span> </span>May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>The starting base rate for this role is $37.47 hourly.
