THIS JOB POST IS NO LONGER ACTIVE
At Alumichem, we are driven by a clear purpose: delivering clean water solutions that support a sustainable future. We are committed to developing advanced water treatment chemicals and technologies to protect and preserve our vital water resources.
With Danish roots and a global reach, we turn scientific insight into practical solutions that address wastewater quality, resource recovery, and environmental compliance – challenges that define our shared future.
We are now seeking a Project Manager to join our Innovation Department – someone who can bridge the worlds of research and reality, guiding ideas from the lab bench to large-scale application. This is your chance to lead projects that not only meet technical milestones but make a measurable difference in the world’s water story.
Your Mission
As Project Manager in the Innovation team, you will coordinate multidisciplinary projects that span laboratory research, pilot trials, and commercial deployment. You will be the navigator ensuring that each project moves steadily from concept to completion – on time, on budget, and with uncompromising quality.
Your Key Responsibilities
Drive the execution of R&D and product development projects from initial idea to full-scale implementation.
Coordinate activities, resources, and timelines using robust project management tools.
Ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (production, sales, quality) and external partners.
Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring strategic alignment.
Communicate progress through structured reporting and clear, technical presentations to stakeholders.
Your Qualifications
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biotechnology, engineering, or similar.
5+ years of experience in R&D, product development, or innovation.
2–5 years of project management experience with a proven track record in technical project execution.
Background in relevant industries, such as chemicals, life sciences, or water treatment.
Skilled in project management tools (MS Project, Monday, Jira, etc.). Project management certification is an advantage.
Familiarity with lab-scale research tools, experimental design, and data analysis.
Data-driven mindset and experience with scientific/statistical data.
Strong technical communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Fluent in English; Danish is an advantage.
