Lead Security Architect – Microsoft Security (Senior Manager Level)Locations: London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, EdinburghSalary: £110,000 – £150,000 + Car allowance + packageWe are seeking an experienced Lead Security Architect to play a pivotal role in driving Microsoft Security solutions across large-scale enterprise engagements. This is a senior leadership position combining technical expertise, sales engagement, solution design, and delivery oversight.This role sits at the heart of a high-growth Microsoft-focused security practice, working on complex transformation programmes across major UK and global clients.Role ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of Microsoft Security solutions across enterprise clientsOwn solutioning and support sales engagements, including large-scale presales opportunities (£3m–£6m+)Define and evolve go-to-market offerings and security capabilitiesProvide technical leadership across delivery teams, ensuring successful implementationBuild strong relationships with senior stakeholders, clients, and partnersAct as a thought leader in Microsoft Security, both internally and externallyDrive capability development, including skills, certifications, and team growthRequired ExperienceExtensive experience in Microsoft Security across Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Purview, and cloud securityStrong background in both presales and delivery within enterprise environmentsProven ability to lead large-scale security transformation programmesExperience shaping and building new security offeringsStrong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at executive levelAdvanced Microsoft security certifications (e.g. SC-100, SC-200)Experience working within complex, matrixed organisationsDesirableIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM or similarKnowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR, ISO27001, NIST)What’s on OfferOpportunity to work on large, complex Microsoft Security programmesAccess to extensive training and certification supportStrong career development framework and leadership exposureCollaborative and high-performing team environmentThis is an excellent opportunity for a senior security professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial and leadership capabilities.For more information or a confidential discussion, please get in touch.
