You will be stepping into a platform that has a live, revenue-generating customer base and a modern architecture. The platform also features a maturing security posture, including a successful SOC 2 audit, alongside active product development across the core platform and new capabilities. As the CTO, you will be a hands-on executive leader responsible for translating business and product strategy into reliable, secure, and scalable technology, while building and leading high-performing teams across multiple geographies.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p class="MsoNormal">Own the technology roadmap, architecture, and long-term technical vision.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Ensure the platform scales securely across customers, projects, and devices.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Lead architectural decisions across cloud infrastructure, integrations, data models, and access-control logic.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Balance innovation with operational stability in a safety-critical environment.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Lead and scale the engineering, QA, technical ops, and architecture teams.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Customer teams to align delivery with real-world job-site needs.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Establish and continuously improve SDLC, release management, and quality practices to ensure predictable delivery without sacrificing security or reliability.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Own the security and compliance posture, including SOC 2 audits, customer security reviews, and internal security.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Maintain and evolve policies around access control, data ownership, encryption, and auditability while partnering with leadership, legal, and external auditors on compliance and risk management.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Own cloud infrastructure, uptime, monitoring, and disaster recovery to ensure high availability for customers operating live construction sites.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Drive operational excellence around incident management, postmortems, and continuous improvement.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Take technical responsibility for the fleet of turnstiles, open portals, and handheld devices in the field.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Serve as a core member of the executive leadership team, partnering with the CEO, CPO, CSO, and other leaders on company strategy.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Represent the technology vision confidently with customers, partners, and auditors, while building a strong engineering culture grounded in accountability, pragmatism, and continuous learning.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p class="MsoNormal">15+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Prior experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, or senior technical leader in a SaaS company.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Strong background in cloud-native systems, modern APIs, and secure architectures.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Strong background in modern web and mobile technology stacks, preferably React, React Native, and .NET.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Hands-on experience with security, compliance, and audits.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Experience leading distributed teams across geographies.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Comfortable operating in regulated, operationally critical environments.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Ability to move fluidly between strategy, architecture, and execution.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Ability to work effectively with overlapping hours in the US Eastern Time (New York) zone.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Leadership Style We Value</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Pragmatic, calm, and decisive approach.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Comfortable making tradeoffs and owning outcomes.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Security-first mindset without being innovation-averse.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Respects the realities of operations, customers, and frontline users.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Builds trust with engineers, peers, and executives alike.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li><p class="MsoNormal">Monthly compensation: Up to 12,000 USD.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Working model: 100% Fully Remote setup.</p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal">Global Scale: A hands-on executive role to shape the technical vision and engineering operations of a modern platform serving live, safety-critical environments.</p></li></ul>
