Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Bank SEN Teaching Assistants to support a specialist education setting near Frome. This role offers flexible working hours, making it ideal for candidates seeking part-time or full-time supply work. You will support students mainly within secondary age groups, working closely with teachers to help pupils access learning, build confidence and develop important life skills. The school supports young people aged 6 to 19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions, including Asperger’s Syndrome and associated needs. Staff work together to create a calm, structured and predictable environment where students can develop independence and self-belief.
