Permanent opportunity available for an experienced Management Accountant to join a fast-paced finance team in a varied, hands-on role offering broad exposure across management accounting, statutory reporting and analysis. This role requires someone who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance.
The Role:
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial information to support decision-making, performance tracking, and statutory and Group reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts with insightful commentary.
- Producing accurate financial reporting to meet strict deadlines.
- Preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Maintaining general ledger integrity and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Managing cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring.
- Preparing VAT returns and supporting tax reporting.
- Reconciling intercompany balances and fixed assets.
- Supporting capital expenditure processes and business case preparation.
- Preparing statutory accounts in line with reporting standards.
- Analysing financial performance, trends, and variances to provide actionable insights.
- Producing costing, margin, and labour analysis.
- Overseeing inventory accounting and stock controls.
- Driving continuous improvement across processes, systems, and controls.
- Supporting wider finance activities, including month-end.
About You:
- Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE.
- Experience operating in a high-compliance environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and control.
- Confident communicator, comfortable working across the business.
