Back to results New Search Sign Up Login *Nurse Practitioner - MC Hendersonville, NC 28792 Posted: 02/27/2026 Category: Nurse Practitioner Job Number: 165351 Job Description Nurse Practitioner (NP) Location: Hendersonville, NC Pay Rate: $74.87/hour Position Overview Nurse Practitioners work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based primary and family care to a panel of patients. This role includes accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health conditions, health counseling, and disposition planning. The Nurse Practitioner will report to the Practice Manager and play a key role in driving positive health outcomes for patients. Key Responsibilities Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health conditions, health counseling, and disposition planning Perform administrative duties, including opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean clinical environment Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to support positive patient health outcomes Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care Complete diagnostic tests to support diagnosis and treatment of injuries or illnesses Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive plans of care Encourage patient engagement in healthcare and wellness through health screenings, behavioral health services, chronic condition management, and wellness initiatives Schedule & Work Details Varied weekdays (Monday–Friday) Required to work every other weekend Possible holiday rotations Orientation/training: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM for 3 weeks Required Qualifications Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program Current National Board Certification Active state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of employment Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (copy required upon offer acceptance) Application for DEA registration required at time of offer acceptance (unless otherwise noted) Nurse Practitioner Candidate Questionnaire must be included on the resume Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Preferred Experience and Skills Minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a family medicine or primary care setting If not met, successful completion of the Primary Care Training Program is required Working knowledge of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and practice autonomously without direct supervision Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency with information management systems and healthcare technology Ability to work remotely as part of a clinical care team culture Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure Ability to collaborate frequently with professional colleagues to ensure quality patient care JOB ID 165464 Meet Your Recruiter Laura Jian Apply Now: Apply Online Continue with Indeed Continue with LinikedIn Continue with Facebook Continue with X Show My Resume Fit Apply Later Share This Job: Login to save this search and get notified of similar positions.
