Senior Routing Advanced Analytics Analyst

KeepStock is a Grainger managed inventory solution that helps customers manage their on-hand inventory, reduce time and labor costs, and save valuable space. As a Senior Routing Advanced Analytics Analyst on the KeepStock team, you will report to the Sr Manager, Routing Optimization. You will develop advanced route optimization plans that allow us to service customers while minimizing our cost to serve. You will provide functional expertise and guidance for daily execution of route plans. Translate operational constraints (capacity, time windows, service levels, labor rules, geography) into mathematically sound optimization frameworks. Partner with Operations, Engineering, Product, and Finance teams to align optimization models with business goals. Remote candidates may be considered.  You Will Evaluate trade-offs between cost, speed, service quality, and network resiliency using scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis. Build simulation and forecasting models to test routing strategies under varying demand and network conditions. Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover routing inefficiencies and optimization opportunities. Build & validate advanced analytical and statistical models including but not limited to forecasting, optimization, and simulation such as linear programming or integer programming. Participate/lead discussions with representatives to adapt the planning system to accommodate business unit needs. Work with data using R, Python, Julia, or Gurobi. Deploy models and solutions using Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Apache Airflow. You Have Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Statistics or related field. Master’s degree or equivalent preferred. 5 + years' experience in related field, supply chain experience highly preferred. Passion for using languages to work with large-scale data (e.g. SQL, R. Python).
