Data Engineer – Data & Analytics We are hiring on behalf of my client, a leading online entertainment company committed to providing users with engaging, trustworthy experiences while driving innovation in their sector. They are expanding their Data & Analytics function and building a modern, scalable Data Warehouse to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making. My client is seeking a Data Engineer to help design, develop, and maintain reliable data pipelines and warehouse models. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong fundamentals who enjoys working across systems and contributing to a structured, scalable data environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain batch and incremental ETL/ELT pipelines Build ingestion processes from APIs and relational databases Implement transformation logic within the Data Warehouse Contribute to data quality validation, monitoring, and auditability Assist with containerized and automated workflows (Docker-based environments) Collaborate with source system teams and business stakeholders to clarify data structures and requirements Support schema evolution and controlled deployments Document pipeline logic and technical decisions Requirements 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or backend development Strong SQL proficiency Solid working knowledge of Python Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and incremental loading principles Experience working with relational databases and APIs Familiarity with Git and version control Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong engineering fundamentals and structured, detail-oriented approach Comfortable learning new technologies Effective communicator with technical and business stakeholders Able to navigate technical systems holistically Nice to Have Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments Understanding of data modeling concepts Awareness of secure data handling and access control principles What My Client Offers Excellent work environment Attractive salary package Monetary vouchers for special occasions Fully equipped kitchen and social spaces Opportunities to enroll in medical and pension plans Exciting company activities including team events, competitions, and gatherings Casual dress code Opportunities for professional growth within a leading online entertainment organization
