Responsibilities:
- Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and structural assembly
- Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
- Install wire harnesses and avionics systems
- Execute surface preparation, chemical treatments, and paint/coating processes
- Apply protective coatings for corrosion resistance and finish requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production orders
- Work on assemblies of moderate complexity following established procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1+ year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ months in aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication environments
- Experience working with safety, quality, and production metrics
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, standard work, continuous improvement)
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools
- Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
- Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 35 lbs
