The team already acts on a significant volume of quality construction work, and the firm is now looking for a senior lawyer to lead, grow and further develop the offering across the South Coast.The OpportunityThis is a genuine leadership role with the freedom to build your own practice while benefiting from an established referral network across Real Estate, Planning, Corporate and Commercial teams.You'll advise a broad client base including developers, housebuilders, investors, contractors, landlords and commercial occupiers on a mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters.Your work will include:Drafting and negotiating JCT, NEC and bespoke construction contractsAdvising on professional appointments, collateral warranties and development documentationSupporting major commercial and residential development projectsHandling construction disputes including defects, payment issues and adjudicationsDeveloping long-term client relationships and identifying new opportunities across the wider firmThis is a role for someone who enjoys building something.
