Position: Mobile Maintenance Engineer

Location: London and Greater London

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £38,000 to £45,000 subject to skill level

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer for a full time, permanent position covering London and Greater London.

This engineer will be covering the planned and reactive maintenance within office and schools across the region

They will be dealing with minor electrical works such as replacing light sockets and light fittings, basic plumbing that will include replacing tapes and cisterns. Compliance checks that will include emergency lighting, tap temperatures, fire alarm testing and plant room checks as well as fabric works that include fire door inspections, painting and decorating, etc

The right person for this position will already have a strong maintenance background. They need to have mechanical and electrical experience as well as fabric work experience

We are happy to look at an engineer that has a city and guilds or nvq in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, carpentry or plumbing. However, they still need to have the above skills set

Requirements

• Strong Commercial Building Services Maintenance Experience
• City and Guilds or NVQ qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience dealing with maintenance in a school environment would be a major advantage
• Must be willing to travel throughout London and Greater London
• Strong knowledge of commercial compliance
• Good site health and safety knowledge
• Must be able to complete a DBS check
• Fire door training would be a bonus

Package

• Basic salary subject to experience level
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Working day is Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm

• Fuel card
