About the Role
<p>Retailer 600 Million Turnover Business 600 stores.</p>
<p>3 Distribution Centres.</p>
<p>Transport Fleet 25 Million.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Logistics Director you will be responsible for:</p>
<p>Warehouse operations within UK managing key relationships with service providers around safety, service and quality. Operationally, this role will lead the development of the providers around safety, service and quality.<br />
Covering warehousing, distribution and transport. In addition, day to day you will provide excellence in leadership capability, support and develop strategic goals and plans to drive a positive change and a safe work-life-balance culture.</p>
<p>At the same time, identifying processes to streamline continuous improvements and full P&L responsibility for freight and warehousing within UK</p>
<p>You will be responsible for the business Case for large Projects.<br />
Setting up a large General Merchandise – Distribution centre.<br />
Responsible for 2 man Home Delivery.<br />
Setting up and Implementation of the Multi Channel E Commerce.<br />
Warehouse Solution for Live Plant Fulfilment centres.</p>
<p>Ensuring continuous Improvement Plans are in place.</p>
