About the Role
This role offers hands-on exposure to month end, reporting and analysis , working closely with an experienced Financial Controller — ideal for someone AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA / CIMA who wants a clear route toward full qualification. The role you'll support the wider finance function with: Preparation of monthly management accounts Posting month end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation) Balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analysis Fixed asset register maintenance Supporting budgets, forecasts and cash flow Assisting with AP/AR, bank reconciliations and VAT returns Involvement in audit prep, systems and process improvements This is a broad role that goes beyond transaction processing and gives exposure to the full accounting cycle. What we're looking for Studying or willing to study AAT / ACCA / CIMA 1-3 years' experience in a finance or accounting role Confident with double-entry and month end Strong Excel skills (PivotTables / XLOOKUP beneficial) Proactive, organised and keen to develop Why apply?
