Inventory Control Specialist II (2 Openings)
Location: South Bay / Los Angeles Area, CA
Schedule: Day Shift
Pay Range: $24.00 – $26.00/hour
A well-established aerospace and defense manufacturing company is seeking experienced Inventory Control Specialists to join their growing team. Position Overview
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting material movement throughout the facility, and ensuring inventory integrity within a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock counts
- Receive, unpack, label, and restock incoming materials
- Process inventory transfers and return-to-stock transactions
- Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliations
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions
- Support material movement between receiving, inspection, stockroom, production, and shipping
- Update inventory data within ERP systems
- Prepare kits and materials for production using pick lists and routers
- Generate inventory-related reports and documentation
- Maintain organized and safe inventory storage areas
- Follow company safety, environmental, and quality procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of Aerospace experience
- Experience with ERP systems preferred (SAP experience is a plus)
- Strong Microsoft Office and data entry skills
- Ability to perform inventory analysis and reconciliation
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
