About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Salford for a role starting in September 2026.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students build the knowledge and skills required to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students in developing their computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Pre-requisites:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge, including programming and computer systems.
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative team.
