<p>We are supporting a major UK government organisation at the forefront of <strong>AI, data, and digital transformation</strong>, building out a next-generation capability to deliver <strong>AI-enabled products and services at scale</strong>.</p>
<p>This is a rare opportunity to join as an <strong>AI Product Lead</strong>, shaping how <strong>Generative AI, agent-based systems, and advanced analytics</strong> are deployed within complex, high-assurance environments.</p>
<p>You will sit at the intersection of <strong>product, users, and technology</strong>, translating AI capability into <strong>real, operational value</strong>.</p>

<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>As an AI Product Lead, you will take ownership of <strong>AI-driven products and services</strong>, from early discovery through to delivery and adoption.</p>
<p>You will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Define and own <strong>AI product strategy, vision, and roadmap</strong></li>
<li>Identify high-value <strong>AI use cases</strong> across operational and business environments</li>
<li>Lead <strong>discovery activities</strong>, working closely with users to shape solutions</li>
<li>Translate complex requirements into <strong>clear product backlogs, epics, and user stories</strong></li>
<li>Work closely with <strong>data scientists, engineers, and architects</strong> to deliver AI solutions</li>
<li>Drive adoption of <strong>Generative AI tools</strong> (e.g. Copilot, LLM-based systems, AI agents)</li>
<li>Balance <strong>innovation with governance</strong>, ensuring ethical, secure, and compliant AI deployment</li>
<li>Engage senior stakeholders across business and technical teams</li>
<li>Measure and communicate <strong>value, impact, and ROI</strong> of AI initiatives</li>

<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>
<p>We’re looking for individuals who can <strong>bridge the gap between AI capability and real-world delivery</strong>.</p>
<p>Key experience includes:</p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience as a <strong>Product Manager / Product Owner / Product Lead</strong></li>
<li>Experience delivering <strong>AI, data, or digital products</strong> in complex environments</li>
<li>Strong understanding of:
<ul>
<li>Generative AI (LLMs, Copilot, AI agents)</li>
<li>Data-driven product development</li>
<li>Agile delivery (Scrum / SAFe)</li>
</ul>

</li>
<li>Experience working with <strong>engineering and data teams</strong></li>
<li>Strong stakeholder engagement across <strong>senior / non-technical audiences</strong></li>
<li>Ability to translate <strong>technical concepts into business value</strong></li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Highly Desirable</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience within <strong>central government, law enforcement, defence, or regulated sectors</strong></li>
<li>Exposure to <strong>AI governance, ethics, and risk frameworks</strong></li>
<li>Experience with <strong>Microsoft ecosystem (M365 Copilot, Azure AI)</strong> or similar platforms</li>
<li>Background in <strong>user-centred design, service design, or user research</strong></li>
<li>Experience scaling AI from <strong>POC → production</strong></li>
</ul>
