About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the LS11 area of Leeds from September 2026 . This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £160–£200 , depending on experience. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring pupils continue to make strong progress throughout lower Key Stage 2. The school is a friendly and inclusive primary setting with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, academic achievement, and positive relationships. Staff work collaboratively to create a supportive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience, and independence. The leadership team is approachable and committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring staff feel valued and supported in their professional development. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum and national expectations. Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to support positive learning outcomes. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and achievement. Differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of all pupils. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development. Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4 or lower KS2. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. A proactive, organised, and adaptable approach to teaching.
