About the Role
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Change Manager to support modernization efforts. This position will be located in Hampton, VA at Joint Base Langley-Eustis and will be a fully onsite position.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Change Manager to work at the intersection of innovation and precision, ensuring every product and service we deliver is built on a foundation of clear and actionable, and well-managed requirements. This position is located at Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to maximize employee adoption and usage of changes to processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures
Conduct impact analysis and assess change readiness, identifying key stakeholders and potential resistance points
Create and manage communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans to support change initiatives
Provide training and coaching to managers, supervisors, and employees to help navigate transitions effectively
Collaborate with project teams and departments to integrate management activities with project plans and ensure smooth implementation
Monitor and evaluate change adoption, track progress, manage risks, and resolve issues affecting the change scope, schedule, or quality
Act as a coach for leaders and executives, helping them fulfill their role as change sponsors
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
Clearance: TS/SCI Eligibility
DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE,CCNA-Security, CySA+,CND)
Experience in developing and managing scope, objectives, and requirements
Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies
Proficiency with requirements management tools
