They are looking for a talented CNC Miller/ Setter/ Programmer to join the Macclesfield team — someone who values accuracy, craftsmanship, and a supportive working environment. You’ll be programming, setting, and operating CNC Milling machines to produce precision components to exact engineering standards. This is a hands-on role that suits someone with strong technical ability, great attention to detail, and pride in high-quality workmanship.   Key Responsibilities include: Program, set, and operate CNC Milling machines Work from detailed technical drawings and specifications Carry out routine maintenance checks to ensure safety and performance Produce components to high accuracy and meet production deadlines Keep your work area organised and follow safety regulations Collaborate with team members to resolve production challenges Undertake additional training to develop your skills further   Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Miller/ Programmer/ Setter/ Operator Apprentice trained or time-served in Mechanical Engineering Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Confident with CNC programming languages and controls Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Accurate, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team environment   Desirable Requirements: Experience with Hurco controllers Time served Mechanical Engineer GCSE or equivalent (required) 3 years of experience
